A week of cycling events as part of the coupar angus cycling festival.
Sunday 23 June
Big Bike Revival - Big Sunday Cycle
Sociable rides starting from the Cycling Hub to kick of the Cycling Festival. It is all about getting out on the bike, with routes for all abilities, those with less experience or those who want to challenge themselves on a good ride in the local area.
MEET AT THE CYCLING HUB, 1 FORFAR ROAD, PH13 9AN
5-10 miles: Meet at 11am - Relaxed ride at your own pace
25 miles: Meet at 10am - Mid range ride at a leisurely pace
40 miles: Meet at 9am - For experienced cyclists looking for some extra distance
Free bike hire availabe from the Cycling Hub.
Monday 24 June
Blairgowrie High School Event
An event organised by S4 and S5 pupils in collaboration with the Cycling Hub to encourage S1 pupils to try cycling. This event gives the senior pupils experience in events organising while encouraging S1 students to introduce cycling into their lives.
- Bike mechanics
- Races and relays
- Cycling Skills Course
This event is aimed at improving cycling skills and increasing awareness of the key benefits of cycling. This links directly with what the Cycling Hub are trying to achieve - reducing carbon footprint and increasing physical activity.
Tuesday 25 June
Ballo MTB Ride
Come and explore the trails in preparation for Ballo Enduro at the weekend. A fun, sociable ride to get you in the mood for Ballo Enduro. We will ride the trails and section some of the trickier sections with local riders who will be happy to share tips and advice on how to pick the best line.
Ride from the Cycling Hub at 6pm - intermediate and advanced groups.
Wednesday 26 June
Electric Bike Event 3-8pm, Coupar Angus Cycling Hub
Interested in electric bikes? Want to find out more? Come along and chat to industry experts, get questions answered and try a range of electric bikes.
Bycycle Group Ride 6.30pm
Join the Bycycle group for a relaxed and sociable ride of up to 15 miles. Leaving at 6.30pm from the Cycling Hub. Why not take an electric bike from the Electric Bike Event?

Interested in leaving the tarmac behind and heading for an off-road adventure?
Join a 15-20 mile led gravel ride from the Cycling Hub at 6pm.

Join our popular cycle for cake ride - a chilled out and social road ride to a cake + coffee stop.
